Hey everyone so i'm back after being away for aaaaages :)

So, i've started downloading GWX Gold. The instructions on the GWX website state that you need a fresh install with no mods installed of SH3, no problem.

But, I am pretty sure I remember that before (and please do correct me if i'm wrong), I was only able to play upto a certain version of GWX as I did not have the SH3 expansion pack....and I still don't. Will I have any issues in playing GWX Gold??? Or should it be plain sailing as the Grey Wolves website indicates?? :DL

Hopefully everything will run smoothly, its been too long a time since i've bene on these forums and played SH3. It will be good to be back again :DL

Should be fine. I never had the XP pack either. I just installed it over a fresh install from a starforce free DVD which had all the updates. No problems.

Ah, that's something i'll have to watch out for....my copy of SH3 is a copy from when it was first released so it WILL have starforce....and i'm running Vista 64. I've heard other people have managed to play SH3, sometimes with no issues at all with Vista, so....i'm hoping things will be the same for me. :)
