I keep seeing people posting about deals that are not so hot. This is the place to find the deal if you are in the mood to spend some cash. I've been using it for many years. You can thank me later.

If you find a deal, please support the community and post it. Thanks.

Taxes and or shipping and handling cost run most items up ...

When I go to pricewatch.com most of the early deals are west coast like newegg ... 8.25% tax makes me wacky.

Here's a question I don't see very often ... Do ya'll trust the reviews from buyers newegg, amazon etc.?

You mean user reviews? Nope. Usually biased, or just plain stupid.

BTW, shipping and taxes usually don't run the price up. Most of the time, you never pay taxes online for one. Shipping usually can be done for $5. It doesn't make sense to buy a screw online, but for anything pricey, it does.

No point for you Americans using this site but there are a few overseas traders ive delt with one or two aussie traders yet you guys have Ebay we have Trademe. On Trademe i can get real bargains when it comes to computers new or 2ndhand - in fact i've been using TradeMe since 2000 if i need some hddware or appliances/tools/computer software/clothes etc., first stop is this place - good thing you don't even have to leave your house to buy stuff! :)
Ive mention here before (im about to bore ya again) how the guy who setup Trademe back in 1999 with only $600 in his pocket and a 2nd hand computer with good programming skills went to work and created Trademe now that guy once living in a flat is a multi millionaire cause of this site. He is my hero! Now why didn't i think of that back then! :damn: We have had many copy sites pop up over the years trying to better Trademe but all of them never get far - small country only one trading site is needed.

Ironic thing is He sold Trademe site for $250 million back in 2005/6 to Fairfax Australia! So really its the aussies who own the site now :haha:

Funny you mentoned that, just the other day I priced up some thumb screws on newegg. It would have been a bad joke even with stupid money.
