Still sends shivers even today.

Pretty rare interview, too:

Nah, I prefer the X-Files theme. As a kid, I always rushed to change the channel when the episode was over so I couldnt hear the music. :O:

I've loved the Dr. Who theme since I discovered the show back in 1984. I never thought it was creepy, just cool.

X-Files. One foggy night I found myself actually whistling that tune, just to fit the mood.

What, you only discovered this now?:D When I was reading the title I was thinking, It must be the doctor who theme! I love that youtube movie and Christopher's Eccleston ears warping:haha:! He manage to put the first doc who theme made by a sintetiser during the 3 rd doctor years, but only use once or two times!

Here's the classic:

Okay, off the top of my head:

First Row:
Susan Foreman
Vicki
Dorothea 'Dodo' Chaplet
Polly Wright (or Lopez, depending on the source)
Victoria Waterfield
Zoe Herriot
Liz Shaw
Josephine 'Jo' Grant
Sarah Jane Smith
Leela
Romana

Second Row:
Romana II
Nyssa
Tegan Jovanka
Perpugilliam 'Peri' Brown
Melanie 'Mel'
Dorothy 'Ace'

I don't know any of the new companions.

Of course the artist managed to leave out one of the very first companions, Barbara Wright, along with all the men:
Ian Chesterton
Steven Taylor
Jamie MacCrimmon (who was in more episodes than any other)
Adric
Vislor Turlough

Am I a Whonut geek or what?

Whoa Sailor Steve, that's pretty impressive, I only remember one Doc Who-gal who had nice knockers.

Well actually I basically just remember the knockers.:DL

Many had nice knockers, or nice clothes that made the knockers nice! Eheheh

Sailor Steve, after Ace, it's the female companion from the movie, 8th doctor, then bilie pipper as Rose, the companion from the new series (at least for two seasons [only season of 9th doc and first of the 10])!

Okay cool. As I said I haven't seen any of the new series, but I do have the movie on tape (along with almost every available episode of the original series). I don't remember the character's name, but I remember the actress was Daphne Ashbrook, who also spent some time on JAG.

Oh yeah. It's been shown by Public Broadcast System (government-run TV) since the '70s.

In 1984 all we could see on the sole tv channel here was the president on country tour trips , simple studio staged quizzes, simple studio staged drama and some more president tour trips in the country. We all thought that that kind of tv was actually quite appealing.

Ahhh. I remember her face from some were when I saw the movie, but couldn't place it!

I heard a rumor that the BBC was preparing a big screen film of Doc Who...hummmmmm (like the first doctor:03:)?
