Definitely the most epic trailer ever made for a SW game. And better than all 3 prequel movies.
Gotta love Bioware. Hopefully this will kill part of WoW's audience but I'm not holding my breath.
Forge your own Star Wars saga in a story-driven MMO from BioWare and LucasArts. Explore an age thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy.
This could be interesting

They made the darkside so badass and cool every gangsta kiddie is heading straight for the sith lord training guaranteed. It seems everyone wants to be the villian.

Nice
Been a fan of KOTOR since the first one, I'm still waiting for TSLRP to be released so the second one can be played properly...

OH MY GOD! Thats epic!
I must have played KOTOR 1 about four times now all the way through, 3 light side once dark side. This looks ACE, been hoping for an online KOTOR for ages after the failure of SWG. I just hope there is some kind of balance in the classes, otherwise it will be like SWG where you have hundreds of jedi/sith running about and nothing else. I rember jedi's in SWG before the nerfs... they were crazy and could take on three of four guys at once.
Star trek online is a pass for me now I think.... roll on KOTOR! With Bioware at the helm I can't think for a second it will flop, the story for KOTOR 1 was leaps ahead of KOTOR II which left more questions than answers.
CANT WAIT!

TSLRP is supposedly close to release (Then again, it's been for a while), that should hopefully give us the proper ending for the game...

Hmmm I didn't enjoy KOTORII much to be honest, the storyline just wasnt up to what bioware offered. I also found quite a few of the locations boring. I was happy to see Korriban back as that was my favourite planet in the original... but it was a dissapointment. I take my hat off to the guys who made KOTOR II they did their best... but I think the bar was set so high in the original they didn't have much of a chance! What is this mod you speak of? Is it kind of like GWX for KOTOR? lol

Well, the real problem with KOTOR II was the idiotic deadline put on it's release, that caused Obsidian to cut out a ton of the game, including much of the ending, that's why the game seems so incomplete
"The Sith Lords Restoration Project" is a mod that's been in development practically since the game was released and should bring back most of the cut content (Fixed and playable, that is)
I'll end up playing both STO and this, most likely

Not only is game set in the KOTOR star wars universe, it is also Bioware game. I have yet to be disappointed in any game Bioware has crafted and I have played and enjoyed every one of their PC based titles. I will keep following the development of this game.

Why do dev teams feel the need to make MMO's in cartoon style instead of "real" graphics? If they'd kept the same style of graphics as in the KOTOR series it would have been great but they've shoved some crappy cartoony style models in there as if its a spin off from that rubbish Clone Wars cartoon show.

I mean COM'ON! That lightsaber hilt is like three times the size I should be. I was really looking forward to this but I can't help but think that its going to look awful if they're making the models all like this... it will be like WoW in space :damn::damn::damn::damn:.
I really hope I'm wrong and that was just an old model that they've changed since that shot was taken, but I won't hold my breath. Star Trek Online has followed a similar graphics style and it looks pretty bad. I know lower graphics requirements usually mean higher subscriptions due to lower system specs, but lets be honest they could have good models like we saw in the original KOTOR games instead of this c**p and still had moderately low systems requirements.

I seriously doubt it's gonne look like that...
BTW, by 'rubbish Clone Wars cartoon' are you referring to the original one or the new CGI one? Because the original one was great IMO (Much better than the prequel trilogy, at least)
Steel_Tomb

The CGI one, I've always thought that Star Wars just doesn't suit a cartoon presentation... and I will be really disappointed if its put forward like that.
Just watched the trailer again, its made of win lol .
Definitely goes to my list of games to buy. :yeah:
Do not have a machine to run this!
Yes, Kottor 2 was that big disapointment!

Funny this should pop up now.
I just got KOTOR (agin) recently when steam put it up for 9.99 us.
Had a hellua time getting it going on my pc (see long thread in hardware section).
But this was my second time through it, originally on Xbox.
Probably the best CRPG ever produced in spite of the bugs. HK47 still makes me laugh.
I skipped KOTOR2 I will leave it at that.
The trailer was awsome and that flame throwing droid ! Me wants but...
Isnt this new one an MMORPG?
If so thats a no sale for me.

I thought this would be another KOTOR but it seems to be just an online PvP game. Too bad. Looked good. :(
