Is it true that if you sink the leader ship of the convoy on which the group is made, then whole convoy looses the waypoint and circles around ?

Pretty good since it is the middle ship in the first row of the convoy.

I've not heard of that before. The only times I've had them do that was when I saved and quit too close to them, and upon reload they wandered around because they lost their waypoints.
