I looked around for a probably fix on this issue, I tried google already but nothing seems to fix this, my water reflection is there but it's hidden in the left corner of my screen and it will rarely display if I zoom in enough so I can see some parts of the ship/sub in the reflection, but first here are my system specs, I already had the newest driver for my "video card" but I got my Aero performance downgraded to 2.7 and with this old drivers from october 2008 I get it up to 3.0:

I can run and play with a decent framerate Rainbow Six Vegas, Left 4 dead, Halo & Far Cry all maximum just to name a few, now here's the reflection problem

Is there any way I can run SH3 in DirectX 9 mode or deactivate the reflection on the water or also run the game at 800x600 resolution?

Here are the results of the SH3 Detection Tool, which I find weird supposedly my laptop has 512mb of video memory :o

Hopefully this is the right section for this since sometimes official forums have no idea on this fixes.

D= no one has some ideas....or is it just that my "video card" is just that bad....I also have this issue on Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, the water in the sewers some times just goes all weird and keeps showing the same reflection, through the tunnels :down:

Dont know about your graphics. (your useing intagrated graphics)

I can handle all in high, the best benchmark for my graphic card is Far Cry, can run it with all Ultra High and get 30fps, but the water texture is all messy and sometimes it's missing, I guess it's my video card that can't handle the reflection =( and certainly has some troubles in both games handling the water

Now I Installed Windows XP Professional with SP2 so far It greatly improved my framerate, but now my reflection is at least 2/4 at my screen, sometimes I see the sea all black other just grey :o .

Is there anyway to disable reflections on the sea, maybe with a hex editor, or any tool that modders have used to improve the water, I'll try to turn off the value for reflections if it exists at all
