Changing default torpedo settings?

I tried searching the forum but did not find anything that addressed my question.

Is there some way to alter some config file so that my torpedo settings will default to fast, contact, (specific depth)?

It is a minor annoyance but I hate having to reset all the torpedoes every time I load up a game.

I figured some part of the software "tells" the interface to set to slow, magnetic, so perhaps it can be told to default to fast, contact???

Not that I know off. Of course you could always run careers from '43 and only use mk.23s and 18s and youd never have to set speed or contact as they default that way anyway.Though does it really matter seeing as it really does not add much time to the set process anyway.

I'm also interested in finding a solution for this. If there is no mod, can someone tell me where the file with this data is located?
