For all of you who watch it, CBS has announced that they are axing 'The Unit'. (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/05/breaking-nbc--1.html)
Where is the good military television going to come from now? NCIS?

NCIS is good! They air it in Finland too, and UNIT too. Only watched maybe 4 episodes of UNIT, liked it alot, but I dont watch that much telly so I miss it usually.

Currently being aired on the History Channel in the UK (not for the first time either):

Hell in the Pacific

Quite an eye opener for those interested in the atrocities committed in that theatre during WWII :nope:

NCIS, the Unit, its all crap - they need to bring back the good old military themed shows such as black sheep squadron.

Last time they did a show around an actual front line combat unit, that wasn't special operations or something like that it only lasted a season, and a 1/2 season at that. And it wasn't even on the main network. Everything is so politicized you'd never get anything like what they ran in the 60's, such as the Black Sheep Squadron you were talking about.

Just bring back MASH, that's military enough for my taste. :yeah:
