Hey everyone at subsim.com I just found your website and wanted to get into silent hunter I just bought silent hunter 4 today with the u-boat addon. The only other Silent Hunter I've ever played was Silent Hunter 3 and I really enjoyed it although I was pretty horrible at it and now I'm even more confused with the new periscope interface and all the new things in SH4 that I have no idea how to aim torpedoes or do anything, So I was wondering if you guys could give me some reccomendations on some tutorials or guides because the ingame "Submarine School" offers no help what so ever.

Welcome. My personal advise is start slow. Get a feel for the game and how the boat works etc... Have fun too, so do not be ashamed to use low realism settings at first. Then boost them up as you improve your game. Hell, I was a submariner and I think it took me quite awhile to get decent at this. Attacking Convoys successfully is an art. First focus on positioing your boat for the best attack solution, that is the key to it.:salute:
