Guten Tag everybody

my first post on this forum is a noob question and I apologize if has allready been answered. I checked the forum to page 46 and couldnt find it.
Even the allmighty google couldn't help me :damn:

The question: is it possible to turn off background music, without disabling the gramophone. Tweaking the options either disabled both or did nothing. Even tried deleting the music from the game folder, but then the game kept crashing.

Any ideas ??

P.S. Consider putting Edith Piaf (the best of) in the gramophone folder. It goes very well with the WWII setting

Greetings Matey and welcome aboard;
When your game loads, go to the options screen and select sound; turn music off there, click apply and close.

WELCOME ABOARD!:sunny:

I've always hated having background music going while I play. They wanted to make it more like you're in a movie, but to me that makes it more fake, not more real.

My solution is this: go into Program Files/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter III/Data/Sound/Music and throw out everything but the control file. No more music. Ever.

Gramaphone works fine.

JimBuna hard at work in his sound studio creating the finest era music. Donitz himself declared he has given a good measure of his time into helping the U-Boat brotherhood keep a sane and upbeat spirit in spite of poor foodstuffs and contaminated air. JimBuna, a proud man of few words agreed; he believes good music is essential to staying regular. It is like bran for the soul he declared.
