Ah, Oprah. I remember old O when she was here in Baltimore. Nice run in with Frank Perdue(chickens) and off she went to Chicago. Personally, I could give two craps about Oprah. She does however have the power to make you or break you. She will eventually fall from grace, it is only a matter of time.

Gawd I dident even think that someone might consider it a 'racist' comment.

On the other side of the pond he probably did not hear about it. It would be the same as me hearing about a riot at some local fish and chips in his neighborhood.

That was the first thing I thought when I read it, but then I remembered hearing about that somewhere, and taken in that context it is really funny.

Just do not get the whole "racist" stuff. I actually thought the movie the jerk was funny when Steve Martin wanted a tuna sandwhich on white bread wrapped in cellophane. If an ethnic group likes a certain type of food that they have had in their culture then why is it considered racism to make that point. I am eastern european descent and about the only crapppy food we were known for was anything with cabbage.....Yuk! On the Archerfish we had a Filipino cook who always served rice. We and he callled it "Filipino ice cream". No offense was ever meant. Isn't true racism when one race thinks it is superior to the other rather than this pc crap the world has bought into today?

No one ever won a lawsuit or a fat settlement due to "inoffensive stereotypes". That's why they're all "harmul" sterotypes now.

That being said, I don't see why Obama or any Democratic figurehead would mind her talking like that. They have a long and storied tradition of having absolutely no problem with living opulently while preaching wealth redistribution and going on and on about the evils of people who actually worked or produced something in anything besides the legal industry to obtain their wealth.

So all that lambasting of corporate execs and their destroying the enviroment with their private jets was just a bad dream?
