I actually liked it, too. Some of it was pretty damn funny. Of course, there are those who will take exception to his implication things like 9/11 or cancer could ever be funny. I do. But then I suppose he is right to some degree. After all, people make jokes about the Holocaust and the Spanish Inquisition. I find them in poor taste most of the time, but he's still kind of right.

One is wondering what is more disgusting here: this one of several nasty characteristics of Islam, or the way in which Europe bows to this nastiness, tries to appease it, and deliberately refuses to confront it and stand up against it, in fact even collaborating with it, helping and assisting it, enobling it. It also is one of the many, many reasons why I oppose the EU and this damn dictate of Lisbon so vehemently and unforgivingly. It makes mockery of hundreds of years of european history, that is a history of freeing Europe from such primitiveness and inhumanity, moving beyond aristocratic tyranny and catastrophes like the world wars. But now we have turning the European culture of today into a shameful perversion of both what it promised to be 30 years ago, and anything valuable in the ideas of democracy, freedom and humanism.

The Czech senators unfortunately just missed their chance to delay this cultural catatrophe called dictate of Lisbon even more, although they had it in their hands (and without doubt would have been called to voting again if they would have rejected it). The new absolutistic elite of Europe does not intend to allow putting it's desired power and agenda into critical question, while keeping the plebs in the streets quiet by raising vague doomsday scenarios of heaven falling if opposing their intentions, and promising unsubstantial hints at assumed stronger democratic freedoms and options for citizens - where the dictate of Lisbon is about exactly the reduction of sovereignity and democratic respnsibility, abusing democratic terms for purposes of mimicry only, and turning culture into a meanigless grey mass withoiut any features and calling that "tolerance" and "multi-culturalism", with everything worth to be tolerated and noble enough to be considered to represent cultural value being drowned in the grey swamp of mediocrity and long-forgotten, now returning inhumanity.

Now it is up to the Irish to save Europe at least for a short while. But I am pessimistic. The age of reason is dying. History moves on, things chnages. We have enjoyed a tremendous up, and were unable to make something of that. Now we face the long fall, and have to endure the darkness of past times again.

I am close to accept all means needed to get rid of the EU. The damage the mere existence of the EU is doing to the European heritage, cannot be overestimated. Together with Islam moving into Europe it is the worst cultural desaster since WWII. From the wordwar, we have recovered more or less. To recover from the - last but not least: also mental - destruction being done now, I find hard to imagine as realistic for the next hundred years or more. And the process of destruction even moves on, and wins in pace.
