I am running SH4 Gold, on a pentium 4, 500GB, Geforce 8300.

#1. I found the 300 yard bearing plotter, downloaded it, and placed the folder in the JSGME mod folder.

Should it automatically appear in the game, or what must I do to use it? There is no readme file.

#2. In some of the single missions the control room is locked, and I can't get in. What's wrong?

#3. In some of the single missions some of the torpedo's cannot be adjusted for fast. What's wrong?

Thanks!

Hey Seawolf, welcome to Subsim! You have the file in the JSGME mods folder. That means you must have run JSGME and exited, making that folder. Now run JSGME again and in the left panel you will see 3000 yard/meter bearing plotter (if that is the one you have). Highlight that and press the arrow button to install it. It then moves to the right panel of installed mods. Leave JSGME, start SH4 and you'll have your plotter!

Only Mark 14 torpedoes have two speeds. All the rest only have one speed so they are not adjustable. Go to your torpedo screen to check out what kind of torpedoes are on board. Click on the torpedo to get data in the lower window. See? Speed is adjustable only on the Mark 14.
