Radar ground clutter?

I think my memory is playing tricks on me but I recall seeing ground returns while in port with radar. Was this removed in 1.5 or was it never there to begin with? :timeout:

As far as I know there is no ground clutter with radar from landmasses and I understand active sonar also treats land like it isn't there.

It was never there. I played around with a couple ideas to add radar clutter but only succeeded in cluttering my SH4 install :shifty:.

Especially on rough days, radar sometimes is useless, and clutter is so bad one has real difficulty picking up a target, especially on a rolling ship. This is RL that is.
