I think this has been discussed before but I may have missed it.
Basically,I want to remove that stupid bloody screen that keeps popping up when either planes appear or ships are spotted. It is both distracting and quite dangerous when planes are approaching,as you are fumbling around trying to select an action.I want it out of the way for good,so I can quickly assess the situation myself and make my own decision whether to dive or fight it out (against planes that is).
It really is quite uneccessary at this point in the game, maybe when we first bought it it may have been useful :damn:
Thanks guys.

The game pauses for you when the screen appears. No need to fumble around.

You know I never knew that Neal.
But,is there actually a way to remove it if we wanted?,via a hack or something.
At least now I know its paused that should give me enough time to check the 'make default order' in the bottom left corner. After that is checked is it permanently gone? (daft question I know, but still).
Thanks.

Whatever you tick for "make default order" will stick on that patrol and the box will no longer pop up. You'll have to do it again next time out.
But hey, look at the bright side: you'll only have to deal with it once per aircraft or merchant per patrol

You do not need to reset each patrol.
I believe that once you make it the default order, it stays like that forever, not just for the rest of the patrol. It might come back on a different career though, I'm not sure.
If you need to reset the default, hit ESC then options and you can reset the orders there.

I think that too. You need to pick one for each new career, but then it stays that way forever.
