...Others, such as Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, have been far clearer in their nearly religious adoration of Obama. As WND reported (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=77539), Farrakhan declared last year that when Obama talks, "the Messiah is absolutely speaking."
Addressing a large crowd behind a podium with a Nation of Islam Saviour's Day 2008 sign, Farrakhan proclaimed, "You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."
Farrakhan pointed out that the man Nation of Islam followers refer to as "the Savior," Fard Muhammad, had a black father and a white mother, just as Obama did.
"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he said. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall....

Quoting Louis Farrakhan to smear the left is about as relevant as quoting Fred Phelps to smear the right.

You post an article from World Nut Daily you automatically lose whatever argument you had Subman. Its even worse than some tabloids.

No its an absolute killer of an arguement , it fully explains the reason for the constant flood of moonbat conspiracies you post .
Though its nice to know that amongst the daily flood of crazy Obama stories WND writes it also covers other news , I like the story about the crazy islamists attacking Bethlehems mayor to drive out the Christians , strange that there is no mention that it was just an employee who had been sacked by the mayor and decided to burn his car .

I was surfing through the news channels: CNN / ms whatever / Headline News, all had hip-hop music tributes to jeezusus's first 100 days; Fox had something about Richard Phillips. Just a funny snap-shot of who's covering what:yawn:. Thank god for Nat-Geo and the Military channel.

Well Im afraid you missed the mark. It was painted by libs for libs to 'celebrate' their newfound leader.

Here is the deal....whether lib, dem, indep....who cares....the painting was to create discussion. As we see here, it worked. Personally, I still believe there are a lot who are misguided on the whole Messiah fantasy created in Obama. Certainly, if some believe this is the second coming of Christ, I think Christ would show up without a teleprompter and blackberry. :O:

Nutjob Skizo etc..
If someone truly believes Obama is the messiah (Which is a RW myth of some deep liberals) they have the same mential issues (In my view) As those who think the moon landing is fake, Those who still think 9/11 was an inside job, or those who think Global Warming is an Al Gore Conspiricy.
Loons..

Just because muppets like Malkin have been using the word in their rants it doesn't change the meaning of the word .
I think quite a few have gone off the deep end.
Thats the idea , its what the artist was aiming for , the reaction perfectly illustrates the deep partisan divide the election of Obama represents .

I read the article and I went to the "artists" website, but I didn't interpret what I read in the same manner as you. Happens sometimes. In the end, we all know the "artist" really just wants attention anyway. He certainly got it and provoked exactly the reactions that he desired (on both sides of the aisle).
Funny how he's supposedly dramatizing something (partisanship) that he evidently disdains while inflaming the same.

Its a perfect example from the classical movement of aesthetic relativism .
Wheras if you take that picture of Bush with his head bowed in the office with the ghosts of George and Abe its a classic example of propoganda art .
The fact that the piece has got exactly the reaction across the board that the artist seeks to illustrate shows that even though it is a crap picture it is good art

If he'd come out in a press conference and say "I'm not christian" He would make me a fan in wicked fast time.
Of course the christians would immediately demand impeachment but eh.

He spoke several times about religion and taxes on churches. Here's one of his speeches on the subject:
