Just bought SHIII - please help!

HI, actually, I bought SH3 four years ago when it came out but never played it because of starforce and all the bugs. Is there a way now that I can play it with some patch that removes starforce? Also, can somebody give me a link to all the patches produced for the game?

It does not install StarForce - at least, it did not install Starforce on my computer when I installed SH3.

Pablo, thanks, I went to that link. It does say that a patch is available for that title. I take that to mean that it comes with no patch? I did download the patch. What do I do with it? Do I need to download the game first?

BTW, does that patch include all the fixes since the first patch came out? Do I have to download all the patches that were ever issued?

They should be starforce free and patched to 1.4b. A set of DVD with SH2 and SH3 is available from subsim and various online sources for $9.99

Since I have to buy a new copy, what about Silent Hunter 4? Is it as good as SH3? Should I buy that instead?

My processor is only 2.2 Gig. Is that enough?

I play both & both are good. Matter of preference as both have good modders enhancing the game.
