Il2-1946 gripe

My gripe is if I fly in the USAAF you can't fly a P-38 or P-51 till 44-45.

And to make matters worse you spawn in the air.
No takeoff

USMC is the same. You can't get a Corsair till 44-45

And it's all carrier. No jungle airstrips.

Funny thing is they have a " Black Sheep " squadron.

Is there anyway to fix this ?

or go along the route of modifying your IL2 ...theres a vast amount of mods going about at the moment. that really add immersion to the game,hell theres a one click installer that adds most of them in one go.:03:

I'll crash more than a plane if I go pokeing around with those files which ever they are. :haha:

DCG gives you alot of dynamic campaigns to fly. USAAF, starts from an airfield, USN still starts from carrier on most campaigns I think.

Get DCG, that's my advice.

Yep DCG is pretty configurable!
I started an offline campaign over Normandy in a P38J in late 43 about 18 months ago - needless to say I fly 109s almost exclusively and got killed within the first 10 missions! - Campaign over, back to blue! :haha:
My offline campaign is currently Invasion of Poland, about 50+ missions into it using the modded 109E1.
