A teacher, who is also the captain of the schools cheerleader team, was fired after the school found out that she had modeled nude for playboy. The person responsible for bringing the news to the schools eyes is the mother of the former cheerleader captain. Her daughter was removed as captain after she had missed 3 classes, and never got the absences excused.
In my opinion, the girl was kicked off for skipping, she gets pissed off, and tells her mother that there are rumors of the teacher on the Internet as an act of revenge. The mother who wants to make up for the fact that her daughter now looks bad for being kicked off the team, thus possibly loosing any cheerleading scholarships reports the teacher.
I think the teacher should be reimbursed for her loss of wage, and the family that caused the problems should be hit very hard with a large stick.
Oh, and the teacher is hawt.

Yea the whole thing was brought to a head when the poor little girl got busted, her parents wanted revenge and found some good ammunition.
End of story.
The teacher is hawt, but the school was right to fire her imo.

Sour grapes by the parents but the teacher must have realised she was taking a gamble in posing nude when her RL role was a one of suitability and trust in dealing with potentially vulnerable and impressionable children.

Has nothing to do with nudity. Has everything to do with judgement.

Yeah, she is hawt. What was the video about:hmmm:The video is the news story. They have those parents and the girl in the studio. They keep stumbling over their own words, not a very credible story (they're trying to dismiss it as a timing issue :rotfl:). That girl, when you first see her, has that "I won, haha" look on her face. IMHO clearly a revenge action. :yep:

She probably did and figured "Oh what the hell, if I ever get 'caught' its 6 years worth of teachers salary anyhow"
Now ponder the implications of that sentance

This hypocritical and skitsofrenic attitude towards nudity and sexuality is allways funny from the Finnish perspective. I would understand her firing if she was engaged in porn while working as a teacher, but these were just Playboy pics.

Still doesn't excuse the teacher's lack of judgement, especially in light of this so-called "sexting" crisis. How credible is it to try to prevent kids from sending nude photos of themselves all the while their role models are posing nude for the world to see?

Is there a problem in the US with kids posting nude pictures of themselves?:06:

I have heard there's also a problem with that in Germany.
I've never understood the fuzz about what ppl do in their personal life, being reflected to their careers. I understand it when the person has done something illegal, but this for example, is IMO pure nonsense. There should be a law against firing ppl because of something like this.
A year or so ago, a finnish politician had to quit his job because he had sent sexual sms' to a woman, who was a) single b) not against the sms'. It's fricking ridiculous! If I want to frick a dead rabbit when at home and still do my job with A+ efficiency yadda yaa, what the heck is the fuzz about?
C**ts! :nope:

Some chick killed herself after taking nude pictures of her self and sending them to her boyfriend, they ended up splitting, and he spread the pictures around like a bad rash. Everyone at school called her a whore, and she ended up hanging her self, or something like that.

They should hang everyone that called her a whore.

For one thing it is against our child pornography laws for anyone to be in possession of nude pictures of a minor, even if it was the minor who took and sent them.

I agree, atleast all of the ones that dont feel remorse. For the others, let them live with their guilty conscious especially the ex who spread them.
And back to the main subject, sure the teacher is a roll model and all, but the major issue here is 90% of highschool kids should not be on X-rated sites anyways. So why punish the teacher for something the kids shouldn't be on?

Because the parents are never ever responsible for the wrongdoings of their child.

/SarcasmIt's hard to hold parents responsible if their children are exposed to negative role models in the interest of political correctness.

Learn to control your hormones for once and realize there is a reason we have so many out of wedlock child births, and failing parenting skills.
I would have to ask you to become a bit more mature please. Thanks.
Some neat facts about Germany's huge problem:
...There are more instances of single-child families than those with three or more children....
...Not only the Ways of life, but also basic moral attitudes are undergoing change. Faithfulness to one’s partner remains an important value, but the norm of staying together for life has become more relaxed. The expectations associated of a partnership, on the other hand, have risen. This is one of the reasons for some 40 percent of marriages over the past few years ending in divorce. As a rule most people marry again of find another partner. There has also been a marked increase in the number of couples living out of wedlock.
This form of cohabitation without actually being officially married is particularly popular with young people and those whose marriage has recently failed. As a result the number of illegitimate children has also risen: In West Germany about a quarter and in East Germany more than half of all children are born to unwed mothers. One result of this change is an increase in the number of step-parents and single- parent families: One fifth of all households with children have Single parents, and as a rule these are single mothers....Still defending your hormone problem? This is just the tip of the iceberg. Google it and you will find that your country will not be the same in 20 years time, if you are still a country at all.

I cannot fathom them not firing her...but that doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't have fired her.
I don't feel that posing nude makes one a bad influence. In fact, I find nothing morally wrong with it whatsoever. I do see something a little dodgy about firing her, considering the situation surrounding it.
Ah yes, personal pursuit of happieness. Guess that old principle does not hold up too much when confronted with vengeful soccer moms and hypocritis who consider playboy pics something morally challenging.
But that is also the country where a woman got kicked out of McDonalds for breastfeeding her baby and a 5 year old boy's parents serious problems for him touching a teachers breast, so it should not come as a suprise. Not to talk about nipple gate :haha:

I'm talking about being busted for missing classes and not getting the absences excused. How is that not the parents fault? The teacher was just a convenient scape goat.

It would be poetic justice if the teachers replacement upheld the suspension.

Given that cheerleading is nothing more than a show of T&A while shouting irrelevant slogans, I don't see what the bloody problem is when the teacher coaching cheerleaders has done some playboy shoot.
