My crews morale has been anywhere from "Fanatical" to "Shaken".
Anybody have a list of all the emotions from best to worst.

What are you doing to your crew? mine has been "normal" ever since i first took comand of a sub. I even thought there would be nothing else than this and the "Morale" was only for looks and to remind joung captains that they should be nice to their crew...

same here.
Except i let my sub get damaged hard and some of the crew are being wounded, then it turns negative ... but fanatical? no. what did you do to get them that far? :O:

On my first mission my crew morale was "depressed"... but then we made a quick stop at a house of ill repute on an island in the Phillipines for a cold beer and some feminine companionship... and now my crew morale is "off the chart" and every time I turn my back for two seconds the XO plots a course back to the island!

I'll happily hire his XO since he knows the location of XXX island. I'm going fire mine since he can't find it on the charts. :damn:

Well, Ducimas said "Fanatical" was good, that that person would follow you through the gates of hell.
I went to Truk and caught a convoy in the western shallows. It was heavy fog, raining. I just danced with the dd's, why shooting the liners by sonar and radar. I didn't want to dive and thought it would be stupid. I did get hit once by a dd, but I used the 20 to shoot off the depth charge racks of both. Then I dived, nothing they could do but dry runs.
Why at Truk, the usual TF with 4 BB's was there. I usually don't mess with it, so I had an idea. I saved game...lol. and went by all the bb's with my radar up. They all opened up on my radar. The dd's were still making runs and I thought maybe the bb's would shoot them up. The game ain't all stupid, when the dd's went over, the bb's wouldn't shoot. I just rode around in circles and watched the light and fire show. I have never taken time to listen to all the big guns go off, quite a show.
I only had 10 torps left, so I left the Y alone and sunk one BB. The other one wouldn't go, had 2 duds, but listed terribly. I surfaced beside it, it's guns couldn't depress down enough. This is just a game bug, you get close to any enemy ship, nothing will shoot at you.
A merchant convoy came by with 2 more dd's. So just played more games, shoot them up. A plane did come by and for whatever reason dropped a bomb on me why I was sitting idle beside the bb. Killed 2 men, but the bb also sunk. I ran like crap and dived trying to get away from the blast zone, but got more damage.
I finally leave with 4 dd's chasing me, but they had no racks. I took them through the reefs and they all run into them and sink. Since I had damaged them so much I got credit for 4 dd instant kills.
Just wanted to see what the game will do.You can make some crazy things happen if you want. Now back to my save point and...reality:03:

I always make it a point to stop on all my patrols at little place in the Pacific called Tortuga:yeah:
Because we all want an island somewhere in that big blue ocean where anything goes.

Morpheus! You're a fellow patron of the Rising Sun... good man! <G>
The Tortugas, eh... Falkirion? I will have the XO mark the chart for future reference. It never hurts to keep the mens morale as high as possible!
LOL gents... too funny!
