None that I know of...American Civil War museums perhaps. Probably the closest thing is the USS Drum on display in Mobile, Alabama.

No, not in Georgia.
Take a look here:

With that said, if you can spare the time, drive over to St. Marys, Georgia and visit the St. Marys Submarine Museum. While they do not have a full size sub on display, they do have a world of related things.

The Drum in Mobile is the closest I know of, about 350 miles or so to the southwest.

Well from Atlanta, GA, you have a choice of two. Unfortunately, 5+ hours isn't really "close".
The USS Drum (http://www.ussalabama.com) in Mobile, AL is about 332 miles or 5 hours 3 minutes away.
The USS Clamagore (http://www.patriotspoint.org/) in Mount Pleasant, SC is about 324 miles or 5 hours 0 minutes away.
Google Maps (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&t=h&msa=0&msid=113856803889556067255.000447389d42d46d258f2&ll=39.774769,-96.943359&spn=32.279483,56.25&z=4&source=embed) can be pretty useful. :)

The Drum is great to visit as you also get to see the Alabama as well on the same ticket and you easily spend 4 or 5 hours looking at all that they have there. They also have a bulding with several aircraft including 1 of the 2 YF-17s that where in the fighter competion that lead to the F-16 and of course later the basic design of the YF-17 lead to the F/A-18 of which they have the first Hornet used in combat that was aginst Libya in 1986.They have an A-12 there the super fighter that got cancled but lead to the SR-71. Icing on the cake is the full size replica of the Hunley the first submarine that had combat success. The great thing about the Drum is that if you wait a few minutes when you go in most people just buzz through it fast so if your a sub nut you can have the whole thing to yourself for a while.
