Now, going from a single to a twin is not THAT bad...at least it wasn't a big jet...

What was the name of that old (1950's) movie? Where he took on a 4 engine prop job?

Not all that miraculous the guy has 100's of hours in a single, the plane was trimmed and alot of altitude, competent help on the radio.

Great job? no doubt... miracolous ... sure why not.

Not sure why Obama is mentioned in the title though.

From my link : White got his pilot's license in 1990, but said 18 years had passed since he recently started flying again.

Obama could have landed the plane with no assistance at all from ATC....as long as there was a teleprompter attached to each window in the cockpit. :)

This is not necessarily because of the way the plane was flown. This can also come from stress and fear for your very life.
