SH3 1680x1050 aspect ratio problem

Hi to everyone, today i dig my copy of SH3 and try to see how will look on my 22 lcd, i forced the game to 1680x1050, with the d3d9 but when start the game, aspect ratio was not 16-10 but stretched like 1024x768 4;3 is there any way to fix this.

Look into the Silent Hunter 3 Mod forum, there is already a Widescreen (with the proper ratios) mod in the works.
