Forum Trolls

Have noticed over the past week, a few cases of forum trolls attacking posts and posters here at subsim, may I advise that some stronger actions are needed in handling them.

I am sure you already know who they are..just saddens me to see this kind of thing here :shifty:

Hi Sharkley,

If you come across posts when the poster is just beeing a troll
please press the http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/smartdark/report.gif button under his Name/avatar/info.

this will send a message towards the Moderator(s) of that forum section which will check it out. Trolls will be delt with Yellow&Red Cards which hopefully will make him settle down, if not he will be given cards till he loses all his User-points and is automaticly thrown in the brig or the Forum Admin takes action.

Hmmz? I have noticed far fewer trolls here than in any other forum I've been posting in :hmmm:

Guess maybe because I don't venture that much into the SH forums anymore, or into any post in GT that has posts with multiple quotes in them

No, Task Force, those are Forum Dwarves, Forum Trolls are characteristically quite big

Bear in mind, we want people to feel free to express their thoughts and opinions, but the moderators will assist in keeping the tone civil. So there is a grey area, so what one guy may think is out of line, may be seen differently by another . Thanks for your help, we want the Subsim Radio Room to retain it's rep as a place where the normal people post. :salute:
