Unresponsive rudder?

Okay... what the hell?!

My rudder is 100% unresponsive and there is NO damage to my boat! Look at this!

I had something like that happen on an American boat during a mission. I was not attacked in any way and there was no damage to the boat but I could not turn either way. I used the f11 camera view and looked under the stern. There were 2 props but no rudder. Did it just fall off or what? I had to scuttle the boat and re-load a saved game.:hmmm:

What I dident see is the damage control screen.

Is the rudder even still there?

Don't play german....did you try and save and restart...German stuff usually well made, unless you have the end of the war bug.

Can't use stern tubes either and the rudder is MISSING!

There HAS to be damage but nothing shows in the damage control screen.

I had a great patrol too! I guess were all doomed.

the damage screen only shows damage to the inner pressure hull and you could have lots of damage yet it still doesnt show.

if stern tubes dont work you lost your rudder and your stuck, you can only hope your pointed at a base you can reach in forward or reverse otherwise you may as well end your patrol now because your finished.

Yea, you completly lost your rudder. Like in the fleet boats, if you loose your rudder, you will see it fall off, and sink to the bottom.:yep:
