Slightly less dorky than the solo Segway or double dorky? :D

Along the lines of the segway, cute but impractical and dangerous in the wrong hands.

Just what i always wanted, a vehicle that can go 35 miles an hour, for 35 miles, and look ultra classy too, and even with an extra seat so I can pick up chicks on the sidewalk. Snazzy! :haha:
I'm sorry but sticking people in these on the sidewalk isn't going to solve the traffic problems, then there are issues of bad weather, and also it being open air so people can mess with your vehicle.
Last electric power vehicles aren't a solution for pollution problems if the the electricity is being generated from coal, oil, or nuclear power.

Not to mention what to do with all those nasty heavy metals used for the batterys.
What the heck do they need those for when they have a perfectly good subway?

so what happens when someone pulls out in front of you at the last minute?
you slam on the brakes and it rolls over frontward?

And the best feature, which was barely mentioned in that article: imagine all those dorkmobiles controlled by a computer network to prevent collisions! Kinda like that movie "Minority Report". Hmm... uh, yeah... :hmmm:
I dunno... we have perfectly good golf carts already -- Firewall would know all about those on Catalina!

Yep. No gas vehicles on Cat Is. Only emergency and a few trucks for delivery.

I can see why the greenies want. It should really curtail population growth with no back seat to make out in. :nope:

Do people have some unknown alergy towards walking that they need these things?
