Hey Guys,
Looking for honest players, I need you SH3 Patrol logs.
Working on a little project and it is now off the ground.
A leaderboard of sorts for us to compare patrols and have a little fun with our patrol logs. Always looking for new idea help & support.
Subsim supports this little venture, so I hope you do to.

Anyone ??
No thanks! The same thing could be done here on this site. Can't understand why you want to get people away from SubSim?
Good Luck with your project but I don't see the need to join I am afraid.

@ MookieMookie - Created your board, Thanks :salute:
@Shantyman - Not trying to get anyone away from subsim, are you crazy !?! I love it here, but with all new idea's it's needs a place to start and to moderate. I have spoken to Neal about it and he gave me a thumbs up, I am sure they have enough work to do without starting any new projects.
If you take a look at my site you'll see just how much support I show for subsim

Got that right! Neal supports all kinds of other site efforts, including SWCowboy's bts-mods download site and the Wolves At War campaign. Can't have too many places for Silent Hunter stuff!:sunny:

Maybe I am the only one who does not get it, but I find your original post as clear as mud. I have read it three times and just don't get it.
Just what are captains being asked to sign up for? And what are the "boards" being created?

Tonnage Wars, is a online leader board for captains to post and review patrol logs. You need to "sign up" to be able to post, much like on subsim. The boards I speak of are personal forums for captains to post there patrols. We are still in the early stages so we are looking for support, we are planning on weekly game night's we all captains can chat using our Ventrilo server (like Teamspeak). Hope that clears it up.
To Shantyman - I don't know if your trying to be funny or rude :shifty:

So with TW under way we would like to offer our first game open to all.
We have a 25 man Ventrilo server all set up for our chatting needs, all we ask is you sign up on the TW site (see my signature) in order to get your Ventrilo log in info.
This is not a Online game, we will still be playing single player career patrols, but are able to chat and have fun. ( We are doing this simply as a test for our Ventrilo server and to see how much interest we get.
I hope to see a few new faces..
If you have any questions or comments please reply to this thread or send me a PM.
Many thanks
You mean these?Thsi was my last and best Patrols so far.

Yes, that is what Tonnage Wars is all about, posting a reviewing patrol logs. If you would like to share yours be sure to sign up.
We would love to have you at Tonnage Wars and of course Subsim !!
You can post them in that form or add any level of detail you wish, all we ask is that you post them and have fun !!
Thanks
btw - you would be leading Tonnage Wars with that patrol !!
I was patroling off Africa and decided to have a peek in St Helena. At first i only saw the ASW trawler so sank her with the deck gun, closed in to the Harbour to see another, similarly dispatched.Thats when i saw the Southampton class, loosed two eels at her, scanned around, shot up the tanker, thats when i got illuminated by the Fiji class which i hadnt seen at all, went to PD,back tracked shot 2 eels from the stern tubes, when she sank i then thought the coast was clear so shot up the freighter only to see the Town class hammering down on me,down to PD again haed on shot with 2 eels and bingo! As my hull was down to 50% i thought it prudent to RTB,collecting the others on the way home.Once i have a nice new boat i will join you, just need a bit more practise.:yeah:
