Is there a way to get widescreen rez for SHIII? Thought I saw the question asked recently.

Yup, at least assuming XP (dunno abt Vista). You want to search the forum for eg "res fix" and get the XP resfix file and follow the instructions. And have a look in the mod list sticky as well as the new download section, it could be in there somewhere. If you don't find it, just come back here and someone will dig out a link for you.

oops, that mod list has gone, guess it's rolled into the new download section. Anyway, here's a link to a thread about the res fix. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=137348&highlight=resfix . Unfortunately the link there is to a Filefront d/l, and Filefront now seems completely dead. I'm sure someone will come along soon who'll know where you can get the resfix files.

There's no proper widescreen support for SH3 yet. There's one mod(the thread shouldn't be far down the list in the mods forum) that together with the resfix gives you partial support, but for example the UI graphics will still be stretched.
