New Simmer Reporting

Hi all,

Been reading this forum for sometime and thought I would jump in.

Have been playing SH3 for nine months now and just cannot get enough. I just use the stock game as I tried some mods which crashed my machine.

What mods made it crash? What are your specs? Everybody wants you to have the best possible experience, and the stock game definitely is not that! If there's anything we can do to help, just ask.

When I first started my rig would only do stock SH3 with lots of CTDs. So I saved up to get a rig that could give the the best game possible. I wasn't disappointed. The best is when you can "mod" the game to your liking....:rock::rock:

Im surprised you struggle to run the GWX3 mod (have you tried it?), but I guess it depends on your system specs.....if you list them here maybe we can help you out?

Welcome aboard. If your machine will handle GWX 3.0 I strongly recommend it. It changes the entire nature of the game.:D

Hello! Well, I dont like creating new threads so I think I might aswell introduce myself here. I bought SH3 a few days ago and just finished doing the naval academy exams, plus a succesful single mission of wich I feel very proud :yeah:

Im really new to the naval sim scene, and I hope you dont mind having a "perpetual asking machine" on the forums. I'll be reading and searching for info as most as I can so I dont have to be asking everything here but... there is something I still havent figured out from the game: When Im doing the naval academy exams, my Radioman says I get radio messages, but I dont know how to view/read them. Any hint?

Welcome to the forums Kasbe. I was a perpetual asking machine myself not long ago. The people here are all very helpful.

To view radio messages press the M key on your keyboard. Not sure if there are many messages to read in the stock game. There are mods that will add in historic messages.
