Hello all,

First off I would like to say that I contact Neal in reagards to this project and he has offered his support and use of subsim to help get it off the ground. So I hope that with help from the great members here it will become a reality.

Working on a project for SH3, SH4 and possibly SH5, The Real Time Patrols has been switched over to another member to free me up for this on. Without spilling to many beans in a public forum, it is a live leaderboard for ships sunk within SH3 and SH4. To offer a fun way to brag about your exploits during your patrols. No mods (unless one can be made) will be needed as we will work on a honor system ( of course moderators will be online to look for cheaters and such) I hope this system will be of interest to the fine members of subsim and I hope that a few of you would be willing to help out with design, layout and scorekeeping.

I am sorry to keep things vague but the project is new and has already received some interest, as stated we are just getting things roling so it would be gerat if it could be setup with help from you guys!!

If you have any questions please post them I will do my best to answer them.

PM me is you wish.

Cheers !!

To offer a fun way to braqg about your exploits during your patrols.

Why should you want to bragg? It's a game!:haha:

Thanks for pointing out my spelling error.

As for why would anyone brag, same reason for posting a screenshot of a great sinking, for fun and to add a level of challenge to your fellow players in the game.

And SH3 is not a game, it's a way of life :yeah:

I don't like comparing tonnage and what not because your comparing apples to oranges. Some play with nav updates on, others don't. Manual or auto targeting, duds on or off etc. In stock you can sink 30 tons with the deck gun, while in NYGM your doing good to sink 6 tons with the deck gun.
Some mods you will get attacked every 30 minutes by plane if surfaced, in other games you might get attacked twice during the entire patrol.

Well said. This in my opinion is a total waste of time and a complete 'Flash in the pan' enterprise.

Non starter for sure! Just my opinion though.
