Anyone remember a film, where they have a plan to rob a liner at sea, I think it had gold on it, or something. Their plan is to raise an old submarine, possibly a US one and a guy dives and enters through the escape trunk and then miraculously blows the tanks and gets the sub up. They then refit it in secret and then ambush the liner at sea. There's a guy in it who had trouble between the British and American pronounciation of lieutenant as he is pretending to be a US Navy man. They fire a torpedo filled with flash powder at the liner as a convincer... and then... well I won't give the ending away.

But what film is that?

Thanks, I'd never have guessed it was that, even if I saw the name. I like the way the call them 'adventurers' and not 'pirates' :-).
