SH3 without Starforce

Thought I saw somewhere that you can get SH3 without starforce, can't find it now. Are there any problems with the non SF version?

Also, if I buy a new computer and try to install SH3 with SF, will the same activation code work?

Apparently, the game is available from D2D, patched and starforce free. A google search will lead you to other sites. i believe the game from SubSim's source is also starforce free. You do not need a key with the new DVD; I am not sure about the D2D game source.

You can also find a no SF version here: http://yhst-12000246778232.stores.yahoo.net/sihuiii.html. It's prepatched to 1.4b & doesn't require the dvd to be in the drive once the game is installed. If you order from them just tell them that this is the version that you'd like. They're pretty fast & very reliable.

You are correct sir, the above mentioned copy does not have starforce, and you would be supporting SUBSIM :yep::up:

This version lacks it, too.... and it's 2 for 1, and it's on a Disk.... and it's extremely cheap.... And it's elgible for free shipping, but you have to get the cart to 25 bucks, first.

It's the version I have, and it works fine with GWX3.0, staight out of the box.
Pre-patched in other words.
