On February 14th 1940 ,just north of Belfast I detected a group of merchants including 3 tankers and 2 ore carriers plus a few smaller ships steaming south in 3 columns completely unescorted. My gunners had their lucky day and within two hours I sank 60k tons of tonnage. One hour later I picked up a warship contact approaching from the north and a few other merchants . I raised my scope and there it was: the Warspite battleship! It looked like they were all parts of a HX convoy which had got dispersed at stormy seas. Anyway 100k tons sunk within few hours:arrgh!:

Well good job. I did some research and the only convoy the Warspite was in was HX9. Here is the link to read about the ships that were in the convoy.
