Stupid Question: What does the addon add?

Keeping it simple and stupid! What does the U-boat addon add for the American side of things, if anything?

dunno really.. i think it just adds version 1.5 and those icons at the upper right side.. aside from that it too add the crew suffocating even when the boat is surfaced... i still dont have it.. i too would like to know

The add-on is also a game patch, that effects the American side. Changing your SH4 version to SH v1.5.

well you dont "have to" have it but since 95% of all mods are made to be used with it then you have very limited mod choices if you dont get it.

I must admit that I only fired up the uboat once & it was just too boring. I'll try again but only after adding a mod like opmun.

Okay when I bought my SIlent Hunter pack from UBisoft it came with the uboat addon

Yeah that's called the "Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific & U-boat missions - bundled" or something like that. When I bought my copy it wasn't out yet & my version was like SH4 v. 1.2 or 1.3

So it all depends on when you bought it.
