Weird week at work.

I had quite the week. I grabbed this guy:

Then today, I get called to supervise a DOA investigation. The poor guy appeared to have died of natural causes, but he had been dead for at least 10 days. We found his dog, who hadn't eaten since then. She was so scared and he had no next of kin. I couldn't call our animal control department because I knew if no one would adopt her in 7 days, then they would put her down.

i gave a cop a real "gimme" the other day.

joined an on ramp that was controlled by a red light... the officer was right behind me.

i rolled up - stopped - and went on about joining the highway (it was early there was no traffic... and i had never even seen the light)

so basically i treated the light as a stop sign. :nope:

that was an easy one for him

obviously an honest mistake though - i mean who is going to intentionally blow a red light sitting right in front of an officer :yawn:

GR, I've seen that many times. But my favorite one was this guy who had a few too many pops, sat at a stop sign for over a minute in front of me. I get out of the car, and after he figures out who I am, tells me "I was just waiting the light to turn green..." :salute:

wow now that's a good one.

we dont have a lot of on ramps here in Texas controlled by lights... in fact this is the second one i had seen, one in Arlington, Tx... the other there in College Station, Texas (where i was visiting briefly)

its pretty uncommon. just one of those things... you never see it so you basically train yourself not to look for it ;)

Illinois we have the "stop & goes" on the merging ramps, but the law does not consider them enforceable.
