Thomsens ships v Community ships

What is the difference between the "Community Units " mod and "Thomsens ships " Mod?And which is the visually better of the two?I have Anzacmicks damage immersion mod which flags up conflicts if i use the Thomsens mod.

Thomsens ships affects how the ships move (if Im correct, your talking about phillip thomsens mod right.)

And the community ship mod adds ships.
