These are some true words:

Letter: Mission to dumb down nation accomplished

....I often wonder where we would be if my generation had said, “Hell no, we won’t go.”...

A crock! The guy is entitled to his opinions, but that's all they are. I can't speak to the Obama/Soros connection, though I believe it's probably true.

Ninety-five percent of the G.I.s of Word War II were Christians.
Prove it. That many may have identified themselves that way, but prove that too. Anybody can make any claim they like. On the other hand, how many then, as today, as with any generation, really understand what that means?

We fought for capitalism.
Really? He joined up to protect his right to make money? I bet that never even crossed his mind.

I often wonder where we would be if my generation had said, “Hell no, we won’t go.”
I joined up for the wrong war and the wrong reasons. I wonder where we would be if our government had said "Hell, no, we won't go" when the whole Vietnam mess came along.

Do you have any real thoughts on this?

My thoughts are that over use of propaganda dilutes the essential message.

My thoughts are, basically, the same as August's. While the message has a bit of validity to it, the messenger shot himself in the foot with the presentation (and misrepresentation).

Personaly I suspect the author is a bit senile given how he is attaching things together in that letter. It also reads of a half "when i was your age!" and half "damn kids these days!" type letter.

Yeah right , Jewish financiers and commie atheists are running the nation .:rotfl:
Is this veteran quite sure which side he was fighting on as he seems to be spouting crap that really belongs in some of those 1930s movements .

Assuming he's American, you could argue that his generation did in fact say “hell no, we won’t go." Non-intervention was, after all, a pretty popular policy up until Pearl Harbor.
