I just found out that the publisher for T34 vs Tiger and Steel Fury went bankrupt as of march 17 of this year.

This probably is not good news for support etc.....

Yes, this is a sad loss here, for once in these days of "casual gaming" was a publisher who still seemed interested in bringing us simulation games including Ship simulator, T34, Steel Fury and East India Company. Thankfully "East India Company" has now passed into the hands of Paradox Interactive so we may yet see it released in the not too distant future.

Old news - hasn't this already been reported several weeks ago? ;) I know for sure that simHQ's Magnum posted it here in one thread.

Lighthouse Interactive is failliet

He also had a thread on it at simHQ.

Note the date: late January.

Without delving into this very deeply this could be that LHI entered receivership in January, and the formal termination of the company was declared in March. It hasn't come as a particular suprise though.

As bad as this is - but maybe there is a chance now that the sourcecode can be released? I wonder what some modders can make of Steel Fury ...

Lighthouse is not the developer. The developer has an addon almost ready (I am not sure what will become of it, though), and earlier voiced plans to work on a SF-2. Thex also already advertise a new wargame, which in parts seem to base on the graphics engine of SF, but I am not sure of that too. What it means is that I think chances are very slim, if even existent, that they already will release the sourcecode so early after release.Mmaybe in some years. Which means quite some years, probably - and even that is not certain.

So: don't wait for it.

Zvlad from the developement group is showing up here sometimes. Ask him about it.
