Team Viewer software - is it any good? It seems to be easy to handle, but is it safe and stable? I need a solution to remote control the notebook of my (older) parents for maintenance, or help them out when they run into a problem and I do not want to rush over to the other side of the city immediately. So maintenance and demonstration are the two criterias. I finally got them a Samsung R509-AURA T3200 Daria 15,4 Zoll WXGA Notebook (Intel Pentium T3200 2GHz, 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Intel GMA X4500, DVD+- DL RW, Vista Home Premium.

Just for your information, I have tested it now and must say it runs wonderful, and with very easy handling and almost zero lag. I can remote-control the computer of my parents easily, seeing their desktop on my screen, running their rig and software and all. They can see on the monitor what I am doing on their machine, for them it is as if a ghost sits at their system.

Great solution for maintaining and updating critical items on their mahcone (virus scanners, updates form other scanner, etc). If you want you can even run it without installing software.

For private use, it is free.

Geheimtip!
