"This is a non-political movement. The 9-12 Project is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001. The day after America was attacked we were not obsessed with Red States, Blue States or political parties. We were united as Americans, standing together to protect the greatest nation ever created.
That same feeling – that commitment to country is what we are hoping to foster with this idea. We want to get everyone thinking like it is September 12th, 2001 again."

When us 'real' Americans all hated those damn liberals.....:woot:

They can promote whatever the heck they want, but "this is a non-political movement..." my posterior.:O:

Well it is by its nature a political movement, however they are attempting to take out the left vs right aspect as much as is possible.

I think the main thrust is a quest for 'truth' in politics and accountability, on both sides of the aisle.

Well, they sure as hell don't want to go back to 9/12/01, then. Accountability? Pssh...

Well in all honesty it was better on 09/12 than it was on 09/11.

Admirable idea. Heck knows we need a lot more of both the 'truth' and the 'accountability' from our gov't! Just seemed to me that after reading several sections of the site to be a rightwing/anti-liberal rag. As 'moderate' on most issues it was disappointing to me. It could have been so much more.

Like everyone else, I remember the 'feeling' on 9/12. We all just wanted to help eachother any way we could. No one gave a crap about what someone else's politics were. I was so proud of us that day.

I think the idea is that the Conservitave movement had so much political clout worldwide on 9/12 that they wanted to push through things like the patriot act and the like. The Cons. realize now that it was squandered on a usless, un-needed war and spying on Americans (like the KGB) and wound up having half the world hating America. They just want the "fuzzy feeling" back.

Anyway I would prefer to have it like it was on 9/10 myself.....
