Hi folks, when i was young i used to play a game on a linux machines.(about 7 years ago)
This game was similar to simcity, but it was only 2D.
Note, that games used to run on a linux.
I know this wont help you much, but all i can say is when you start a new game, a green background appeared.
Google, didnt satisfy me much......

You won't believe it but its one of the games I have for linux (the other one being Civilization a call to power). :D
The name of the game is Railroad Tycoon II (gold edition). :salute:

LinCity is a SimCity clone which is include in some of the Linux distributions
1. version is 2D
