I searching for something to read and found this among some other WW2 sub stories. Look exiting, so i wondered if some one read this?

I have read the book. Just finished it. It is fiction but does contain some factual things. The author apologizes in the preface for anything that is not factual. After all, it is fiction so anything is possible. If you are looking for factual reading on the fleets or Japanese boats, this is not the book for you. If you like a 'what if' scenario then this is a good book for that. All in all though, it did keep my attention and let my mind wander a bit concerning these large Japanese submarines and what they were capable of. You can get the book through Subsim Amazon for a few dollars plus shipping. So, why not right?

Sounds like Newt's books. For a ex politician he writes some of the best historical fiction I've ever read on the civil war and WW2.
