Stephen king's "IT" scared the sh*t out of me back in 1990... of course i was 11 years old

i watch it now and it is border line hilarious - its a comedy for gods sake!

for example... the scene where the kid loses his boat down the street drain and he stoops down to look for it and up pops a clown looking at him out of the drain...

THE KID BARELY BATS AN EYE

its as if in his town that happens every day.

i dont care what age you are... or what town you live in... that sh*t aint normal!!

even today if i bent down to look into a street drain and a clown popped up with a big friendly smile on his face i would set a land speed record getting the hell out of there.

I think season 2 of "Supernatural" has an episode that involves a clown/demon that travels with a circus and eats people. It was pretty good and had some comedy in there as well.

I was afraid of clowns too ever since I was a kid without ever seeing S.King's IT.I believe that the most freaky about them is that you can't see their real emotions.They have a fake sick smile and they have something depressing.

I think that may be it... I love comedy in most forms. But clowns always seem to have this sad act going on, which comes across as rather depressing. Mimes too me are very similar.

Well I dont think he's that freaky, I kinda like Pennywise, sure he has the bad habbit of well you know killing ppl, but if you ask me, the actor behind that mask is one freaky guy. Something isnt right in him. :hmmm:
