Obama signs Embronic stem cell research:

So someone tell me why this is necessary when that problem was already fixed?:

So is Obama simply ignorant or stupid?

I'd ask the same of you??
You didn't even read the two articles, did you. You just spewed them from your inbox as usual.

President Obama lifted restrictions on stem cell research funding. I don't even know what Obama signs Embronic stem cell research means. Either you don't understand what your talking about, or it doesn't matter. The safe money goes with the latter.

Just a guess pretty much, but I would wager that it is more cost effective to do it this way. And unless I am mistaken you are very much in favor of runing a more efficent and profitable business which can potentially result from this line of research.

Edit: Allso according to the first article the strains federally funded scientists now have access to are better suited for research purpouses with a higher potential to yeld better results more rapidly. To opose this is the same kind of feelgood bull**** as the head nutjobs of PETA are after.

We have the Obama megathread for a reason.

While I applaud the effort, unfortunatly it has slipped down the page largely ignored.

Maybe if SUBMAN posted all his anti-Obama articles in that thread it would come back up to the top.

If anyone bothered to notice since it would seem most of you are short sighted, Obama is the secondary person in this affair. The issue at hand is stem cell research.

Now please continue with your comments.

Unless there was a mega advance since this article, it says that they aren't really sure how close the cells they did manage to make are to stem cells, and the side effects of the "reversal process" is not known. By the way, SUBMAN, you can't honestly expect people to read your first post and not think of it as Yet Another Obama bashing post. And while this advance (if it works out) might make certain parties that abhor the concept of using some non-sentient cells to save sentient people a little more comfortable, if anything, I can't see why it won't make the "Play God" guys feel even less comfortable. Now they've added another "Play God" stage before the final organ comes out.

That's from the first post. I fail to see anything secondary about it.
