Yes. You can manually edit as per the "readme that nobody fricken reads" or download and install EZplot (http://files.filefront.com/EZ+Plot+V10rar/;13341800;/fileinfo.html). I can't imagine why you would want all those silhouettes, colors and tails back though. There's no way a real sub skipper would get that information from his radar or visual sightings. That's why Ducimus scrapped it.

It makes the game a lot more simple for those of us who are, let's say, casual gamers simmers :D
Also, you would be able to develop the tail from a radar contact, with a few observation.

The other aspects of TMO are much more challenging than a new player can tolerate, especially the enemy AI. I believe that a new player is much better served by playing stock until they have a handle on the game. TMO is not a training mode, it is a punishment mode for players who think they're too good!:rotfl:
It's a place where escorts can depth charge you accurately without pinging you at all. It's a place where planes bomb and depth charge you at and below periscope depth, sometimes even when you are 150' down. It's a place where you can be on silent running, pointing directly at the escort and they suddenly detect you from 2,000 yards away and charge you at 30 knots. It's a place with many, many more duds and deep runners. Abandon hope, all ye beginners who venture here.

Hey RR, does this mod work with RFB?
I know the readme says it works with the major conversion mods, but I just wanted to confirm that it wont screw anything up?
Can never be too carefull, Ive alreay uninstalled and reinstalled SH4 3 times this week, dont really want to do it again.
So just install via JSGME after installing the mod(s)?
Edit: Sorry, I thought you were the author of EZplot...
Thanks for your patience.

Yes, EZPlot works with any mod setup and no, I am not the author. It actually turns TMO into TMOWTW, for instance, since that is the only difference. TMOplot works only with RFB right now to give RFB the TMO plotting system, which I believe is the best plotting system in the game.
Oh cool, I dont want it totally stock, at the same time I would like a little extra help so in that regard TMO plot seems like a better option over the EZ plot, and its specifically for RFB.
Cheers RR, you've been a great help to me this week.
Thanks.

It's great to have both options.
