Samsun dvd-ram drive
500gb samsung hdd
OS:windows vista premium 64bit
I found here LOT of different mods... i really dont know wich mod is good(realistic) for sh4....
Well there's 3 that stand out IMO, they are RFB, TMO & RSRD.. the last two can be used together, not sure if RSRD can be used with RFB.
They all change a lot of stuff, so you're best to read the threads for them and download the manuals that will give you an idea of what each one changes.
In the end you'll probably have to try each one out and see if you like it or not. Just be aware that if you dont use manual targetting RFB can be frustrating because it doesnt update the speed of a ship thats alreayd been hit. IE. a ship that has stopped due to being hit in the props/engine room, its speed wont get updated in the TDC when firing the coup de grace, so your torp will miss... if you dont use manual targetting you can not change the speed manually to override it, so you'll have to either finish it off with the deck gun weather permitting or classify it as "damaged" and leave it. That was my biggest gripe with RFB untill I learned manual targetting.... which I just did BTW...
Im currently playing TMO with RSRD and am loving it, but each to their own, they're all great mods.

Ditto Piggy, but I might add that RSRDC IS compatable with RFB, just make sure you use the correct (RFB) version. I would not play without RSRDC, even when playing the stock game. It vastly improves campaign gameplay.

RFB is more historical, harder in some aspects, such as tracking, setting up targets, ect...
TMO is great, just the dd's are set to almost god mode and can give you a tough time, almost no matter what you do, they find you before you shoot, but you can still attack if you plan well.
Try both..RSRD works with both...just use the right ver. I would say both are equal, just depends on your playing style.
There are numerous smaller mods, skins, ect. Take the time to load up plenty of radio stations, makes the time go by.

If I may make a suggestion, let me recommend the 1.5 U-Boat add on. I never play U-Boats and have no interest in them but the add on contains the 1.5 patch plus a few improvements for the US side. Most all of the major mods are now 1.5 (1.4 not supported) and they are just so good it takes away from the game not having them.
RSRDC, like stated above, is a must have. It goes with both TMO and RFB. (Get the correct version) RFB is so realistic you will swear you can smell the paint and cork when the depth charges go off, not to mention the wonderful damage models for the sub itself and the merchants you hunt.
TMO will challenge the best of skippers with deadly AI and the immersion factor is ten fold. It also has it's own campaign if you want to wait awhile on RSRDC and so much more that this post would take too long to explain.
The add on is about ten bucks and IMO, worth even more, even if you just get it for modding capability. It will make this game that much more enjoyable. :yeah:
