It's me again!

Does anyone know of a "workaround" (IE: Cheat) for renown? I would like my renown to be limitless as I personally don't find it realistic. I saw something on how to increase your renown significantly but can't seem to find it anymore...

Go to:

My documents\sh3\data\cfg\careers\"player"\patrols_.

Scroll to the bottom and change the delta renown to whatever figure you'd like.

Another way is to go to SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg\basic config, use find to locate renown and make every one zero.

Go to My Documents/SH3/Data/Careers/(captains name folder)/Patrols_0 . Then scroll down to DeltaRenown and change amount there with any text editor like Word or Notepad(Example: to go from zero to 9000 renown / DeltaRenown=0.000000 and change to DeltaRenown=9000.000000). Save and exit.
Now when you start your new Career, you will have 9000 renown.

You can do this even if you've completed 8 Patrols or more. just Open the Patrols_0 file and change last Patrol completed DeltaRenown to what you want.
