It has something to do with your Windows installation. It's not OUR security, it's Windows Security, that's screwing you up. There's a thread on this error message here (http://forums.gamesquad.com/showthread.php?t=82960). Maybe you can find something useful there.

Whats strange is imho since its 2009..

2. Install the game in the default directory (Highly Recommended).

That has notting to do with my PC..

Never had issues with installing software b4 so im not sure if we should only blame mr Gates here.

Note: The info box (in the picture) hides the main box wich says "Creating Folders"

Anyway...
Thx for the link..
And still NO JOY

Same issue here, Novum. Running XP Pro, single partition, nothing special about the setup, never had a problem installing stuff.

I tried deactivating McAffee and every firewall related thing I could think of, no dice.

Can any of the local computer whizz figure that one out?

While I did not have any problems when installing (XP Pro, on partition F rather than C), I did have problems with downloading the patches. Eventually a programme called Peer Guardian proved to be the culprit; this or a similar programme could be the culprit in your cases.

Rgr that..
Dont have anything funny going on on my computer
Running Avast antivirus (it was off) and Windows firewall (also off)

Tried to contact there support... still waiting for the right user info so i can mail them...

This error has occured on a few machines since we release Trial Edition 2 (ver 1.022).

The only thing they have in common is that they have been non-english Windows install. We are testing an updated install today for release Wed. evening.

According to Microsoft, it may have something to do with non english systems not having a "Users" group(English spelling) on the PC in question.

Thats what i call customer support!!

This one took some figuring. It turns out it wasn't our problem; we had to work around somebody else's problem, and it took a lot of effort get the necessary information from them.
