Hmm. I'm having a hard time finding reviews on this drive. I know it has Lite-On internals (shame on Plextor for not making them itself!), but I need to know if this drive does Bitsetting? Anyone know of a good place to find a review on this that will tell me if it supports bitsetting? I frequently change the booktype on DVD+R's so this is a requirement in my book. The ability to read Blu-Ray is just a nicety that is not really needed.

What amazes me is the 'lack' of information on this drive on the web. Plextor is not what they used to be.

This site will search for compatible book type field DVD players, it seem Plextor has a few models that do.

I own 2 plextors that do, but the new drives are simply rebranded. Plextor has gone down hill. For example, the Blu-Ray drive is actually Lite-On guts. It seems that Plextor hasn't made a decent drive lately to compare to the 760, nor will they make their own drives anymore in the future.
