Completed Mission

Simple question from a new player... when I play a single mission and complete the objectives... how do you end the game? After I surface the sub it ask if I want to abandon the mission or some other message.

when you are finished with career/mission
When you get the yellow popup that ask you if you want to abandon mission ,
click "OK" that's it .

Yep, single missions don't get recorded or preserved. When it's over it's over.
